Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expresses strong rejection of U.S. aggression on Syria

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif expressed on Sunday strong rejection of U.S. President, Barack Obama’s announcement to launch aggression on Syria, stressing that the aggression on Syria is an aggression on the Arab and Islamic nations.
In a statement, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif highlighted the right of the Syrian people to decide their destiny and choose their governors in complete transparency and freedom.
Last Thursday, the Egyptian government stressed opposition to any aggression on Syria while Tamarud Movement called for closing the Suez Canal in face of any warship taking part in aggression on Syria.
