Terrorists announce large offensive in Daraa only to have it end in disaster 4 hours later
FSA announced on Monday that their forces were launching a large-scale offensive against ISIL forces in the southwestern countryside of the Dara’a Governorate.
Led by their Southern Front Brigades, the Free Syrian Army stormed the Yarmouk area of Dara’a earlier today in a bid to expel the Islamic State affiliate, Jaysh Khaled bin Walid, from this part of the province.
However, four hours into their offensive, FSA was forced to end their operations after losing more than 30 fighters and two tanks.
FSA has repeatedly tried to retake this area from ISIL in the past, but all of their attempts have fallen short of success.
