The Iraqi Federal Police announced that its forces’ anti-terrorist operations in the Western Anbar province resulted in the killing of at least 22 ISIL Takfiri terrorists, including foreign snipers.

“The Federal police forces, in harmonized offensives against the ISIL terrorists, killed 14 of them, including three foreign snipers, in Melgma and Tel Masoud area in Ramadi,” Commander of Iraqi Federal Police Raed Shaker Jawdat said.

“The federal forces also conducted mop-up operations in the nearby areas of al-Madyaq area in Khalidiya district, and killed 8 more terrorists in the battlefront,” he went on to say.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
