Resheq welcomes UN step without surrendering one inch of historical Palestine

Political bureau member of Hamas Ezzet Al-Resheq has welcomed the decision to go to the UN to acquire an observer state status at the international organization.

He said in a press release on Monday that the step should not be coupled with surrendering one inch of Palestinian national soil.

“We, in Hamas, welcome any achievement that would push forward our national cause but while retaining our rights and constants,” he added.

Resheq said that any political or diplomatic moves should be in harmony with national consensus based on resistance and steadfastness and on retaining constants.
