VIDEO: Syrian Army halts attack in Qaboun District to save lives of trapped enemy fighters

The Syrian Arab Army’s Ghiath Group (42nd Brigade) halted their attack in the Al-Qaboun District of east Damascus on Monday to save the lives of trapped enemy fighters.

Video footage from the district on Monday shows the men of the Ghiath Group helping militants to safety after they were trapped under a collapsed building.

Another video released on Monday showed a commander from the Ghiath Group telling his soldiers to not harm the captured enemy fighters, as they are sons of Syria.

The Syrian Arab Army is currently on the offensive in the Al-Qaboun District and several other areas around eastern Damascus.
