The Syrian army thwarted a series of attacks by the Takfiri terrorists on a strategic region in Northern Aleppo province.
The Jeish al-Islam terrorists in three convoys of vehicles were trying to attack a strategic region in Western Aleppo, but they failed.

Aleppo has been the scene of heavy clashes between the terrorists and the Syrian troops in the last several days.

The Takfiri terrorists intend to seize the strategic region of Jamiat al-Zahra in the Western parts of Aleppo city to pave their way to the city center.

Tens of terrorists, including several commanders, have been killed and dozens more injured during the past 48 hours in the Western Aleppo.

On Friday, hundreds of the ISIL terrorists were killed and scores of others sustained serious injuries after Syrian warplanes pounded the Takfiri group’s positions in Aleppo city.

According to local reports, the Syrian fighter jets targeted the militant hideouts in the troubled city and claimed the lives of more than 100 terrorists.

The reports added the strikes also left several ISIL compounds and ammunition depots destroyed across the area.

The aerial attacks were carried out after ISIL militants fired hundreds of rockets and shells into at least seven government-held areas of Aleppo late on Thursday.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
