Rouhani hails nation’s bravery, unity against terrorism

President Rouhani, who was addressing a gathering of Iranian officials and foreign ambassadors to Tehran on Monday before the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, underlined that election campaigns are over and the sole competition today should be in serving the nation and achieving the long-term national goals; “united, we should work to solve issues of production and unemployment.”

Noting the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran, Rouhani hailed nation’s brave resistance against terrorism and applauded military forces on production of strategic weapons and applying them in proper condition against the enemies.

“The move revealed just a fraction of Iran’s defense power; Armed Forces, government and nation, under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, have displayed national unity and power to the world,” he asserted.

Rouhani also commended nation’s massive turnout on Quds rallies; “this is a source of hope for Muslims and Palestinians and indicates that virtue would win over vice at the end.”
