West should be accountable before Iran: Official

Iran’s ambassador to China told the elite and experts of the research centers of China that the Almaty 2 negotiations were constructive since they led to a better understanding of Tehran’s stance.

According to IRNA, Mahdi Safari the Iranian ambassador in Beijing, who had attended the recent negotiations between Iran and the G5+1 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, took part in a meeting on Tuesday with a group of the elite and experts from the Chinese research and media centers to brief on the issues of their interest.
The Iranian official called the Almaty 2 talks positive and constructive adding that the two parties reached a real understanding of one another’s stances and the participating countries also confirmed the importance of this change.
Noting that the west should be accountable before the Islamic Republic fo Iran’s proposals and demands, the Iranian ambassador in Beijing stressed that Iran has shown it is really seeking to resolve the nuclear issue though it will not quit its legitimate right.
The last round of Iran-G5+1 talks on Iran’s nuclear issue were held on April 5 and 6 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
