Palestine: Protests against Israeli Land Confiscation

Palestinians from all religious backgrounds, including Eastern Christian Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Muslims came together to protest against Israeli land confiscations in Bir’ona, a suburb of the West Bank city of Beit Jala. The case garnered worldwide attention since the cement barrier will separate Christian Palestinians from their olive groves and cut much of the church land, including a monastery into two halves, making one half inaccessible.
