Popular Uprising Reported in Northern Syria, Demonstrators Capture Terrorists’ Positions

The websites reported that hundreds of resident of the town of al-Artab in Western Aleppo poured out into the streets, opposing Al-Nusra’s presence in their town.
“The demonstrators stormed the Al-Nusra positions and seized control over al-Artab court, al-Sharqi, al-Maqsala and al-Mahkama checkpoints and the group’s command posts,” the websites reported, adding that the people are due to hand over the captured checkpoints to the local council.
The websites added that a number of Al-Nusra terrorists were killed and several more were arrested by the people in the uprising.
Al-Nusra has gathered almost 3,000 of its fighters in Western Aleppo to attack Nouralddeen al-Zinki’s positions from three directions.
Reports said on Tuesday that the Nouralddeen al-Zinki members and other terrorists of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) resumed clashes after a daylong halt in hostilities in the region.
Al-Zinki and Al-Nusra exchanged heavy fire near the 111th regiment base, the small town of Dar al-Izzah, the village of Taqad, in a region near the villages of Ajel, Tadil and Oweijel and the small towns of Kafr Naha and al-Abzqamou in Western Aleppo.
Meanwhile, Al-Nusra dispatched a large number of forces and military hardware, including tanks and vehicles to the battlefields in Western Aleppo and Northern Idlib to face al-Zinki fighters.
Also, al-Zinki sent its military equipment to the village of Taqad in Western Aleppo and clashed with Al-Nusra in the village of Kafr Natin.
The two rival terrorist groups reached an agreement on ending clashes on Monday.
