World thanks Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei after Iran punishes Israel for its foolhardiness

Moments after Iran carried out its ‘Operation True Promise’ against Israel in response to the attack on its diplomatic mission in Damascus, social media was abuzz with congratulatory messages commending the exemplary bravery of the Islamic Republic’s military.

The center of focus was the commander in chief of the Iranian armed forces and Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who had vowed to “punish” the rogue regime.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) carried out retaliatory airstrikes on various Israeli military sites in the occupied territories; two weeks after half a dozen missiles targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, leading to the assassination of seven Iranian military officers, including two top-ranking commanders.

A day after the Israeli aggression, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei vowed to “punish” the Israeli regime to make it “regret” its crime of assassinating the country’s military advisors in Syria, who were in that country at the invitation of the Syrian government.

As drones and missiles pounded the occupied territories early on Sunday, and videos immediately went viral, netizens throughout the world started lauding the Islamic Republic and Ayatollah Khamenei.

Many social media users posted Ayatollah Khamenei’s photos on their pages, hailing him for his inspiring leadership and wise decision to strike at the heart of the apartheid regime.

Some social media users also shared an image that projected Iran as a mighty lion prancing over its prey, i.e. the illegitimate regime in Tel Aviv.

A Leader of promises

The ‘Operation True Promise’ was carried out based on the instructions of Ayatollah Khamenei, both a day after the attack on the Iranian consulate and on the day of Eid al-Fitr.

In his enlightening sermon following the congregational Eid al-Fitr prayers on April 10 in Tehran, Leader of the Islamic Revolution reiterated the vow of “definitive revenge”, saying the attack on the Iranian diplomatic facility in Syria was an attack on Iranian soil and it must be punished.

“The malicious (Zionist) regime has made a wrong move in this case. It should be punished and it will be punished,” the Leader said while delivering his Eid sermon, with tens of thousands of people in attendance.

The promise was duly fulfilled and the apartheid state was smacked like never before, making it the first time Iran attacked the occupying regime and the occupied land for the first time.

In cyberspace, people were ecstatic thanking the Islamic Republic of Iran and Leader of the Islamic Revolution for teaching the rogue regime in Tel Aviv a fitting lesson.

“I am an American Patriot, and I STAND with Iran!,” wrote Rev Laskaris, an American researcher, on X, along with a full-size profile picture of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

“I am Indian and I stand with Iran,” read another post by Indian journalist Rizwan Haider on X, also with a picture of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

“I am Sunni, I am British, I am Pakistani but I #standwithiran,” wrote another Twitter user named Saima.

“Today I found one more reason to call you MY LEADER. More power to youuuuu!!! It’s because of your leadership that we are seeing how Israel is getting what it deserves by the hands of Iran!,” an Instagram post read after the Iranian retaliatory strikes.

In Calgary, Canada, during a protest held on Monday, a man was spotted standing on a ledge donning a portrait of Ayatollah Khamenei, raising his hand in support of the Leader.

The Google Trends report revealed that as the Sunday attack was initiated, the search keyword “Khamenei” went from a score of 52, i.e. half as popular, to peak popularity, 100, with Pakistanis topping the list in searching for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Google.

Pakistan also emerged as one of the leading countries where large-scale celebrations were organized in different cities to celebrate the Iranian retaliation against the Zionist regime.

The demonstrators were heard chanting “Labbaik Khamenei” (We are with you Khamenei) and “Khamenei Zindabad” (Long live Khamenei).

In India, political commentator and analyst Asad Rizvi, who was tracking the trend of the rise in popularity of the Leader, said Indians from all walks of life started pouring messages in praise of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic.

Rizvi explained that Indians saw Gazans as the voiceless and helpless mercilessly killed by the brutal Israeli regime, but the Iranian retaliation brought hope to people who have faith in humanity and struggle on the path of justice.

After the news went viral, admiration and respect for Ayatollah Khamenei touched new heights as the mastermind of the Iranian retaliatory military operation, which shocked the regime and its Western backers, including the United States.

He spotted a trend that Indians had started on their social media handles: “What none of the leaders of the Islamic countries were able to do, Ayatollah Khamenei  alone did it.”

In India’s Kargil, a town situated in the northern Himalayas, people took to the streets raising slogans of “Allahu Akbar, Khamenei Rehbar” (God is Great, Khamenei is our Leader)

“One man who stands like a rock against the oppression and challenges the evil on its face. One man who has brought the entire barbaric regime led by the United States and Israel down to their knees. One man who defies all odds, he is none other than Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei,” a student named Nisar Hussain, hailing from Kargil, expressed his love for the Leader on X.

“200 million Muslims of India are standing with Iran,” wrote another X user, Faizal Khan.

Meanwhile, throughout the world, social media users used the hashtag #ThankYouIran to reaffirm their support for the Islamic Republic and the values it represents.

They also denounced those countries in the Arab-Muslim world who have been mute spectators to the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the Israeli regime’s destabilizing acts in the wider region.
