The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, successfully carried out an ambush against an Israeli military unit stationed east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades combatants launched an anti-personnel projectile at the opposing forces ahead of engaging in direct confrontation with enemy troops, as reported by a statement from the military wing of Hamas.

Al-Qassam combatants launched an attack on two Israeli tanks and a military bulldozer positioned near the border in the Faraheen area of Khan Younis, utilizing Al-Yassein shells.

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that the ongoing Israeli offensive has resulted in the loss of more than 52,500 lives and has left over 118,000 individuals injured since October 7, 2023.

On Monday evening, an Israeli airstrike in the central Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of six civilians, as it targeted a vehicle in the area.

Israeli military operations targeted a civilian vehicle in close proximity to the al-Nuwairi Tower, located west of the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central region of the Strip, leading to the fatalities of six individuals.

Eleven Palestinian individuals, among them a child, lost their lives on Monday due to Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardment across multiple regions in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, an infant succumbed to malnutrition.

Israeli security cabinet, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has sanctioned a phased escalation of military activities in Gaza, as reported by sources quoted by Israeli public broadcaster Kan.
