ISIL’s Centers in Homs Receive Severe Blow in Syrian Armed Forces Attacks

Syrian Army troops and Air Force targeted ISIL’s gatherings and movements near the terrorist-held city of Palmyra (Tadmur), inflicting major losses on the militants.

The army aircraft carried out several combat flights over ISIL’s concentration centers in the Eastern direction of Palmyra and in the Northern direction of Abu Kala Dam West of Palmyra, leaving a number of militants dead or wounded and several vehicles destroyed.

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorists near Abu Kala Dam, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles.

The army men also targeted ISIL’s gatherings in the regions of al-Dabor, Keisin, al-Talaqiyat farm, near al-Bardeh and Tal (hill) al-Awamid, killing a number of militants and destroying their bases and vehicles.

Also a convoy of the Syrian Army’s elite forces stationed near T4 airbase West of the ISIL-held Palmyra city on Saturday after the Arrival of several contingents of Syrian Army forces and a large number of Hezbollah fighters ahead of an imminent offensive to liberate the ancient city.

The Syrian Special Forces were airlifted to station in the Eastern flanks of the T4 airbase just before the start of the imminent operation to recapture the ancient city of Palmyra and the energy-rich fields in Eastern Homs Province from the ISIL terrorists.
