Palestinian Resistance factions condemned the assassination of the Deputy Chief of Hamas’ political bureau Saleh al-Arouri on Tuesday in an Israeli drone strike that targeted Lebanon’s Beirut Southern Suburb, declaring that this crime will not break the Resistance’s will to fight the occupation.
Hamas mourned the “great national leader” al-Arouri, who commanded the Resistance in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and was the architect of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
A member of Hamas’ politburo, Izzat al-Rashiq, affirmed that the Israeli occupation will not succeed in undermining the Resistance’s courage and resistance through the assassination of Palestinian Resistance figures and leaders both inside and outside Palestine.
