Palestinian Resistance Forces Combat zionist Soldiers Amid Continuing Gaza Conflict

Zionist media sources reported on Sunday that two soldiers sustained injuries during confrontations in Rafah as tensions in the area continue to escalate.

Israeli media sources reported on Sunday that two soldiers sustained injuries during confrontations with Palestinian resistance forces in the Rafah area, located south of Gaza.

A report emerged just hours after a tunnel shaft explosion in the same city resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and left two others injured.

Medical sources report that Israeli airstrikes on Sunday resulted in the deaths of at least 22 Palestinians, including seven women and a child, as several sites across the beleaguered Gaza Strip came under attack.

Over the past 24 hours, at least 40 Palestinians have lost their lives and 125 sustained injuries in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing conflict, according to medical reports.

Local health authorities have reported that the Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive, which began in October 2023, has escalated to 52,535. Additionally, 118,491 individuals have been injured, with women and children comprising the majority of the casualties.

According to the sources, the number of fatalities has risen to 2,436 following Israel’s recommencement of its military operations on March 18 after a two-month ceasefire. Additionally, 6,450 individuals have been reported injured.

In the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Abu Hweishel family residence within the Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including a woman, and causing injuries to additional people.

In another incident, a drone strike tragically claimed the lives of 10 civilians, among them six women and a child, when it targeted a tent housing displaced families in the Al-Mawasi region to the west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Two additional individuals have succumbed to injuries inflicted during earlier Israeli strikes on Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip and Beit Hanoun in the northern sector of the region.

The continuous Israeli military actions in Gaza since October 2023 have led to at least 52,495 reported Palestinian deaths, with more than 118,366 individuals sustaining injuries.

Thousands of individuals are believed to be trapped beneath debris, remaining out of reach for emergency and civil defense teams following recent Israeli strikes.

Israeli military actions persist without interruption, despite appeals from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and recommendations from the International Court of Justice to implement measures aimed at preventing genocide and addressing the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
