Palestinians in West Bank clash with zionist regime forces

Palestinians in West Bank have clashed with zionist regime forces following Eid al-Fitr prayers in the West Bank, Press TV reports.
Clashes were reported in Zif village, located seven kilometers south of al-Khalil (Hebron), as well as the area near Israel’s Ofer Prison near Ramallah.
Palestinians also held a demonstration at al-Aqsa mosque in al-Quds (Jerusalem), denouncing Israel’s three-week-long aggression in Gaza.
Israeli troops have fired live rounds at Palestinian protesters, wounding at least three of them. Three protesters have also been arrested.
The demonstrations came as Palestinians celebrated the first day of Eid al-Fitr holiday that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The protesters also condemned the Israeli regime for not halting its offensive in the Gaza Strip to allow humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.
More than 1,062 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed since Israel began its offensive in the Gaza Strip on July 8. More than 6,000 Palestinians have also been wounded in the aggression. Hamas says they have killed about 100 Israeli soldiers during the war.
On Sunday, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed a UN-brokered truce proposal endorsed by Hamas, saying Tel Aviv will take whatever action necessary to fight the Palestinian resistance fighters.
The UN Security Council has called for an “immediate” and “unconditional” ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, expressing concerns over the loss of human lives in Gaza.
