Palestinians to hold 3-day mourning for slain minister by the zionist rabid dogs

Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah are set to observe three days of mourning over the killing of a Palestinian minister by Israeli forces.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces killed Ziad Abu Ein, who was in charge of the issue of Israeli settlements within the Palestinian Authority, in clashes that erupted during a protest rally in the village of Turmus Ayya near Ramallah.

Abu Ein died after Israeli soldiers hit him with the butts of their weapons and their helmets.

The president of the Palestinian national unity government, Mahmud Abbas, condemned “the brutal assault that led to the martyrdom” of Abu Ein, calling it “a barbaric act that cannot be tolerated or accepted.”

“We will take the necessary measures after the results of the investigation into the incident,” Abbas said.

Tensions have been running high in the past few weeks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem (al-Quds) over the desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli troops.
