Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf has asserted that adversaries are making efforts to sow discord within the Islamic community.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf has stated that adversaries are endeavoring to sow discord among the Iranian populace by employing fake news and disinformation tactics.
In a parliamentary session on Sunday, Qalibaf remarked that Trump is exerting all efforts to intimidate the Iranian populace.
The issue of why the United States initiated conflict with Iran during ongoing negotiations remains unresolved, he stated.
A speaker has suggested that every comment from Trump serves as psychological warfare, aiming to sow despair and fear among the Iranian populace while disrupting the strategic calculations of the nation’s officials. Alternatively, these remarks might simply be attention-seeking statements lacking substantial meaning.
He stated that the Iranian people will consistently stand united against adversaries and successfully counter their schemes.
In other comments, Qalibaf lauded what he described as the “historic turnout” of Iranians who gathered in the capital, Tehran, on Saturday to attend the funeral of 60 victims from the recent conflict deemed an act of aggression against Iran.
The casualties were part of the over 600 individuals who lost their lives during the 12-day conflict between the United States and Israel, which commenced on June 13.
Israel initiated hostilities just three days prior to the scheduled discussions between Iran and the United States regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
On June 22, Washington escalated hostilities by launching airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, targeting the sites at Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.
The Iranian Armed Forces delivered a significant response to US-Israeli actions, targeting strategic locations within the Israeli-occupied territories and causing substantial damage. Hostilities concluded with the announcement of a ceasefire on June 24.
