Photos- Syrian government begins natural gas production in southeast Homs

The Syrian government has begun drilling operations at the desert city of Sadad in the Homs Governorate after natural gas reserves were discovered near the Damascus-Homs Highway. According to government officials, an estimated half million cubic meters of natural gas will be drilled a day.
