Head of UNDP in Iran: Geneva agreement changed views on Iran

According to IRNA, Dr. Morali, in a news conference at the Foreign Ministry representative office in Bojnoord on Sunday evening, said that after the initial agreement in Geneva, views of suppliers of financial sources of the UNDP changed to a positive attitude toward Iran.
He added that the positive views toward Iran can absorb more help for Iran in the field of development of indexes of man power and the environment through the UNDP.
Morali continued that now countries, which provide financial sources for the UNDP, are more eager to increase investment in Iran, so possibility of increasing UNDP participation in implementation of the environmental projects is more.
According to the UNDP report concerning promotion of man power development indexes in Iran, he stressed that the index between years of 1980 and 2011 had a desirable growth.
The report shows that Iran, after South Korea, has the second rank in the world on developing man power indexes.
Head of the UNDP office in Iran arrived in Bojnoord on Sunday afternoon to consider feasibility study for implementation of Green Banking plan.
