Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) announced on Wednesday that they have exterminated dozens of ISIS terrorists whilst advancing on key positions in Salahuddin province.
The operation by the PMU aims to secure imperative roads that link Tikrit to Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, with their media team announcing that the militia took Tel Shana hill after a bitter battle with the terrorist group.
The villages of ِArab Leith, Mohamed al-Awad and Ard Mosaltan were also cleared of ISIS fighters.
