Breaking: YPG reportedly to hand over some Aleppo districts to Syrian Army

According to preliminary reports from Aleppo, the Kurdish YPG will hand over some districts and localities to the the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inside Aleppo.

Among the listed areas that will be handed over are Bustan Basha, Al-Halk, Baiden, Al-Haidariyah, and ‘Ayn Al-Abyad.

No information was available regarding the large Sheikh Maqsoud District.

Al-Masdar is awaiting confirmation from the Syrian Army and YPG.

If these reports prove true, this will likely have to do with the latest developments in the Afrin region of northern Aleppo.
