Over the past two months, Egypt has refused to reopen Rafah crossing which is the only major crossing between Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and outside world. Analysts say the closure is part of Egypt’s tight restrictions on Palestinians exacerbating the Israeli blockade on the impoverished enclave.
