Turkey jets bomb areas close to Iran border in northern Iraq

Official sources in Iraqi Kurdistan say Turkish fighter jets bombed border areas on Tuesday close to the shared border with Iran.

The bombardment came shortly after it was reported that a Turkish military base in northern Iraqi Nineveh province was targeted with rockets on Monday night.
