“Before participating in the Quran contest I have heard a lot, about it, and that was one of my desires to participate in the competition,” he underlined.
“Today I am here, reached to my aim, and I see all I have heard were true,” said Austria Quran reader.
“One of the conspicuous features of this contest was its high level of judgment,” Habib Abdul Motalleb underlined.
Quran reciters from 61 countries including Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Lebanon, Tunisia, Austria, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Thailand, Algeria, Sudan, Azerbaijan and Germany have travelled to Iran to participate in this event.
The participates of the event will be visiting museums and other Iranian cultural attractions during their sojourn in Tehran as part of a program arranged by the organizers of the competition, which runs until July20
They’ve gathered in Tehran to compete each other. But there contest is much different than many expect. Its theme is spiritual. Many of these Muslim scholars had been practicing for years only to be qualified enough to participate in the 28th international Holy Quran competition.
