Rabid Dog Israeli Forces Intensify Siege on Northern Gaza’s Indonesian Hospital, Initiate ‘Random’ Gunfire

The Israeli military has surrounded the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya, located in northern Gaza, and has been engaging in indiscriminate live fire targeting individuals within or in proximity to the facility.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the Israeli military has escalated its attacks and blockade of the Indonesian Hospital since the early hours.

The statement indicated that a climate of panic and disarray is affecting patients, the injured, and medical personnel, significantly obstructing the delivery of emergency healthcare services.

The ministry reported that this development followed the recent incapacitation of the European Gaza Hospital several days earlier.

The statement emphasized that the occupation is escalating its systematic efforts to target hospitals and render them non-operational.

Reports indicated that two patients sustained injuries while trying to leave the hospital.

The statement cautioned that Israeli forces are intensifying their “systematic campaign” aimed at targeting hospitals and rendering them non-operational.

The Ministry of Health has made an urgent call for all relevant parties to take immediate action to ensure the safety of medical teams, patients, and the injured within the hospital premises.

Dr. Hussam Hamouda, a general surgeon at the Indonesian Hospital, reported on X on Sunday that he and five fellow doctors have successfully evacuated the hospital. However, the injured individuals remain trapped within the facility.

“Since yesterday, we have been trapped within the confines of the Indonesian Hospital as relentless drone activity dominated the skies above. Shellfire descended from all directions, and sporadic gunfire erupted, including within patient rooms, creating a scene reminiscent of a horror film, yet infinitely more harrowing,” he stated.

At 7 a.m., the last group of five doctors, including myself, departed as the situation deteriorated into complete collapse… and regrettably, the hospital is now non-operational. The injured are still trapped within its walls. Although we bear the weight of guilt, we are powerless to change the circumstances,” he stated.

They successfully escaped through an opening in the wall, sprinting nearly 10 kilometers under intensifying shellfire until they arrived at what was described as “safety.”

“What form of safety exists when bodies remain in the streets, hearts are broken, and helplessness engulfs us?”

He stated emphatically, “I am conveying the truth through my own experiences. Any other narrative you hear is false. My heart remains with those we could not rescue and those we left behind. We bear the burden of their pain within us, and there is little we can do about it,” he lamented.

Since October 7, 2023, when hostilities commenced, Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 53,272 Palestinians and injuries to 120,673 others, predominantly affecting children and women, according to reports.

On Friday, the Israeli military declared an escalation in its operations over Gaza, commencing an extensive series of aerial attacks and deploying further troops into the Palestinian region.
