Lebanese Army foiled an infiltration attempt into the Arsal outskirts on Sunday after a large force from the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” attacked their positions.
Several clashes were reported until dawn on Monday; however, the army managed to score a number of injuries in the gunmen ranks.
The Lebanese army has been confronting the terrorist groups along the northeastern border since the eruption of the Syrian groups in 2011.
