Report: Terrorists kill Syrian civilian

Armed terrorists have killed a Syrian civilian and wounded three others in the city of Deir al-Zour in eastern Syria, says the country’s official news agency.

The victims were assaulted on their way to the north-central city of Ar-Raqqah, SANA reported.

The attack followed reports of armed gangs entering the area.

It raised the prospect of a tough time ahead of Damascus in its efforts to curb unrest there.
