Residents of Qittineh Lake and neighboring villages march in support of Syrian Army

Residents of the workers suburb and the neighboring villages of Qittineh Lake in Homs countryside took to the streets in support of the Syrian Arab Army.

The participants expressed their support to the Syrian Arab Army, being the homeland’s defender in the face of terrorism, and they also expressed their rejection of the acts of the armed terrorist groups.

They chanted slogans haling the sacrifices of the Syrian soldiers and their efforts to restore stability and security to the homeland, stressing their support to the Army in the face of terrorists and conspirators.

Homs Governor, Talal al-Barazi, highlighted that the participation of the locals in the event indicates the strength of the national unity, extending gratitude to the Syrian Army for repelling and eliminating the terrorist groups.

Head of Homs branch for the Arab Socialist al-Baath Party, Subhi Harb, called upon all Syrians to stand against the attempts of some sides to ignite sedition under false slogans.

In turn, head of the Farmers Union in Homs, Wafa al-Masri, said that the current events did not undermine the Syrians’ morale, adding that the Syrian people repeatedly expressed their support to their leadership, their love of their country, and rejection of takfiri terrorism.
