Rohani expresses concern over concentration of terrorist groups in Syria

Iranian President Hassan Rohani expressed Iran’s deep concern over the concentration of terrorist groups in Syria, showing Tehran’s readiness to participate in the international conference on Syria without any preconditions.

The remarks came during President Rohani’ s meeting with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy on the sidelines of the 68th UN annual General Assembly’ meeting syesterday.

Meeting the members of the Asian Assembly in New York, Rohani stressed the need for comprehensive cooperation among countries to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

He warned of the worrying situation in Syria in terms of the emergence of extremist doctrines the concentration of the terrorist groups in it.
