Kish Island to enhance investment on tourism

Iran’s Kish Island is programmed to promote the investment on tourism with the aim of establishing capacity for hosting more tourists in the future, Press TV has reported.

The development plan includes a modern tourist city in the Island of Kish in the Persian Gulf which is called ‘Dream City’.

While several big construction projects are being developed at the Free Zone Island, a number of construction workers, architects and engineers celebrated the inauguration ceremony of one of the giant projects that was held in the Island few days ago.

The 888 thousand square meter project include a luxury hotel , a residential complex, food courts, a yachting dock, ice skating rink, a Golf course, movie theater, several and conference halls.

Since its rebirth from an abandoned Island two decades ago Kish has shown significant progress.

The experts believe that Kish Island could look into a future with more attractions for tourists and more money for investors.

Some 210 Iranian and international tourism representatives flocked to Iran’s seventh International Exhibition of Hotel, Travel and Tourism Services and Equipments held few days ago.

The participated agencies presented diverse range of products and services and introduced their latest achievements and techniques in tourism.
