
The state-run SANA quoted local sources as saying that 142 civilians have been killed and 345 more injured in Operation Olive Branch carried out by the Turkish soldiers and Ankara-backed militants in Afrin region in last 18 days.
SANA further said that all those killed bodies and wounded individuals that have been sent to Afrin hospital are civilians.
It added that the Turkish forces’ mortar attack on Rajou region’s Red Crescent Center inflicted major damage on the center and injured a number of people.
Local sources reported on Saturday that more civilians were killed and wounded in clashes between the Turkish Army and Kurdish militias in Northern Syria and Southern Turkey.
Turkish sources reported that a civilian was killed and eleven more were wounded after the Kurdish missile units fired six rockets at the towns of Kilis and Hatay on Turkish territory.
In the meantime, Turkish Prime Minister Ali Yildirim said that the Kurds have launched 82 missiles at the Turkish border towns since the army operation started in Afrin, killing 5 civilians and wounding 100 people more.
Also, local sources in Afrin said that two civilians, including a child, were killed in the Turkish airstrikes in the town of Afrin and the village of Hummam.
