Sanandaj Sunni prayer leader: “Ahlul Bayt (AS) is axis of Muslim unity.”

Mamusta Hessam el Din Mojtahedi, prayer leader of Sunni-dominated city of Sanandaj, in his weekly sermon noted affection and loyalty to Ahlul Bayt (AS), is the axis for solidarity among all Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” To respect companions and household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has always been among the most important issues of Muslims and he who does not feel affection and loyalty to them is excluded from Islam.”

Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj hailed Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as one of the greatest figures in the world of Islam who is particularly respected among followers of all Islamic denominations.

Mamusta Mojtahedi noted that following the lifestyle of great religious figures is the solution to many issues in the Islamic society.

The grand Mufti of Shafe’i School in Iran also warned against religious and cultural invasion by enemies of Islam and denounced serious efforts by western countries to dominate Islamic ideologies and culture.
