Supreme Leader of Islamic Ummah Calls for Muslim Unity to Counter Superpower Influence

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the importance of solidarity, understanding, and shared dialogue among Muslim nations as the strategy to address the unprecedented crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its allies in Palestine and Lebanon. This statement was made during a gathering with government officials and ambassadors of Islamic countries in Tehran, held in celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which concludes the month of Ramadan.

The Leader characterized Eid al-Fitr as an event that unites various sectors of the Muslim community, enhancing the stature of Islam and its revered Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the continuous elevation of Islam’s dignity relies on the unity, resolve, and understanding of the Muslim community.

The Leader asserted that the swift evolution of international events requires Muslim governments to swiftly and precisely establish their stances and formulate strategic plans accordingly.

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the Muslim world’s vast population, rich natural resources, and strategically significant geographic positioning as remarkable advantages.

The essential requirement for capitalizing on these opportunities and addressing sensitive characteristics is the cohesion of the Muslim world. Unity, however, does not imply that governments must merge or align their political thoughts in every aspect. Instead, it involves acknowledging shared interests and shaping one’s own objectives in a manner that prevents disagreements, conflicts, or disputes among the parties involved.

Ayatollah Khamenei underscored that the Islamic Republic of Iran is reaching out to all Muslim governments, expressing solidarity and positioning itself as a brotherly ally on the shared front with these nations.

The Leader emphasized that collaboration and unity among Muslim nations serve as a strong defense against the aggression, coercion, and intimidation posed by aggressors and oppressors.

In recent times, the practice of blackmail and extortion by dominant global powers has regrettably become increasingly prevalent and transparent. In reaction to this, Muslim nations are called to protect the interests and rights of the Muslim world, ensuring they are not subjected to coercive tactics by entities such as the United States or any other influential states.

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the adversities faced by Palestine and Lebanon due to the actions of the Zionist regime and its allies, urging the Muslim community to resolutely oppose these hardships.

The Leader emphasized that through unity, empathy, and the shared language of Islamic governments, their position and status will be clearly recognized by others. It is hoped that the officials of Muslim countries can cultivate the true essence of the Muslim Ummah through their own efforts, motivation, and initiatives.
