Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim denounces international reactions supportive of the Israeli aggression

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim has described the way of dealing and the conduct of some countries towards the Palestinian issue as a shameful behavior, expressing deep regret for these countries’ bias to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and their holding the Palestinian people responsible for the escalation.
This came up in a speech delivered by the Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) on the second eve of the month of Ramadan on Friday, November 16, 2012-11-17
His Eminence lauded the Palestinian response to the Israeli aggression on Gaza by bombarding Tel Aviv with rockets and by downing a military jet, criticizing at the same time the global reactions in support of the Israeli aggression. He wondered about the ability of the world community, which is biased to Israel, to interfere in favor of the peace plan in the Middle East, stressing that right is taken by force as testified by this verse of the Almighty: “And prepare for them whatever force you can.”
His Eminence explained that the remonstration among the sides and national components in the country is a right which does not crisscross with the political alliances, stressing the necessity of returning to the criteria that bring together the groups comprising the Iraqi scene, firming the alliance and insisting on it so that the unity and cohesion of Iraq may be safeguarded, emphasizing that the unity of Iraq is a very important issue in which there must be a keen interest, and we must work towards its achievement.
His Eminence stressed that all of Iraq’s ethnicities, religions and components are allied with each other, and they are determined to maintain the national unity, stressing the necessity of continuing the understanding, coexistence and communication with everyone and on the necessity of respect and on everyone recognizing the rights of other for being partners in this homeland.
His Eminence pointed out that self-confidence is not born in a true way unless it depends and relies on Allah Almighty in the way that brings about strength, dignity, firmness, straightforwardness and insistence, drawing attention to such reliance being that of the heart relying on Allah in all matters: He is the One Who is able to achieve all successes and happiness in both abodes: this life and the Hereafter. He explained that balance in one’s personality does not take place without self-reliance, without trusting one’s self.
