Scores of ISIS terrorists killed as Syrian Army liberates several areas in southern Syria

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their large-scale offensive in southern Syria, today, after repelling several Islamic State (ISIS) attacks on Friday.
Led by their 3rd Division, the Syrian Arab Army managed to crack the Islamic State’s lines this morning at the ‘Ard Qa’banat axis in the northwestern part of the Al-Safa region.
According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Arab Army broke through the Islamic State’s lines in ‘Ard Qa’banat and liberated several points that were occupied by the terrorist group.
In addition to the advance, the Syrian Arab Army also killed a number of Islamic State fighters, including ten snipers that were positioned along the northwestern part of the Al-Safa region.
This advance on Saturday will prove imperative in the coming days, as they now have fire control over the Islamic State’s last water source in the Qabr Sheikh Hussein area.
