Israeli military actions persist in the Gaza Strip, marking the 628th day of ongoing conflict. According to Palestinian sources, at least 19 Palestinians have lost their lives due to Israeli airstrikes since Wednesday morning.
In a recent development, Palestinian sources have reported that 19 individuals have lost their lives due to actions by occupying forces throughout various regions of the Gaza Strip since early Wednesday. The sources detailed that three individuals perished following an Israeli shelling incident at a gas station located in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Additionally, artillery fire by occupying forces targeted the cemetery area near the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, situated in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian sources, five individuals, including a child, were reported as casualties at Al-Awda Hospital following an Israeli airstrike on a residence in the Mufti area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Additionally, three more were killed and others injured during an Israeli airstrike on Mansoura Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, early Wednesday. The sources further reported that five individuals lost their lives and several others were injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting the house of the Salman family on Al-Salam Street in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, early Wednesday morning.
Reports indicate that military aircraft conducted intense airstrikes on the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, located east of Gaza City, and Jabalia al-Balad, situated to the north of the territory. Additionally, artillery shelling was reported near the cemetery area west of Khan Yunis and in the Zeitoun neighborhood to the south of Gaza.
The Palestinian Civil Defense has announced that three individuals have been found deceased while five others were rescued alive following an Israeli airstrike on two homes belonging to the Nasr and Dada families in Jabalia al-Nazla, located in the northern region of Gaza. Several individuals are still reported as missing beneath the debris.
Backed by firm U.S. support and a lack of decisive action from Arab nations, Israel is conducting a large-scale military campaign in the Gaza Strip. The conflict has resulted in over 187,000 casualties, with more than 11,000 individuals reported missing, and numerous fatalities stemming from famine. Additionally, over two million Palestinians are enduring forced displacement amid extensive devastation.
