Senior Terrorist Commanders Killed in Daraa

The Syrian army destroyed a position of senior terrorist commanders in the Eastern countryside of Daraa on Sunday, killing and injuring a group of them.

A military source said that a group of senior terrorist commanders were killed or injured in al-Nueimeh town in the Eastern countryside of Daraa.

Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.

Over 3.8 million Syrians have left their country since the beginning of the crisis. According to reports, more than seven million Syrians have become internally displaced.
