Sheikh Qassem lauds achievements of Islamic Revolution

A senior Hezbollah official has said the victory of the Islamic Revolution has changed the submissive approach and hegemony of the West in the Middle East region.

Speaking in a local gathering in Beirut on Friday, Hezbollah deputy chief Sheikh Naim Qassem underscored that the victory of the Islamic Revolution has altered the regional western hegemony to resistance and will of the nations.

Sheikh Qassem stressed that the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran is reminiscent of the great achievements in the fields of politics, science, culture and economy.

‘If the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran did not exist, we would step backward increasingly,’ he said.

‘The experience has proved that the powerful resistance is capable to defeat Al-Qaeda and its branches from Al-Nusra Front to Daesh terrorist group and foil the Israeli plan,’ Sheikh Qassem added.
