Sheikh Qassem: Resolving Troubled Hezbollah-FPM Relation Suspended till Election of New President
Hezbollah Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Qassem indicated that the Party seeks dialogue with all the Lebanese parties and encourages the House Speaker Nabih Berri’s initiative aimed at enhancing the convergence of views.
In an interview with Al-Akhbar newspaper, Sheikh Qassem pointed out that Hezbollah presidential choice is the clearest although the Resistance Party has not nominated its candidate yet.
His eminence invited all the Lebanese parties to discuss Hezbollah presidential choice to reach a speedy result, adding that nominating an independent candidate stands for escaping the serious nomination.
Sheikh Qassem noted that resolving the troubled relation between Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement is suspended til the election of the new president, adding that Hezbollah ministers participation in the caretaker government session must not be a reason for deepening the dispute.
