S. Korean company: Iran oil industry improving


Managing director of South Korean Sang Pipe Supply said Iran oil industry is improving.

Talking to IRNA, Sang Oh referred to the 16th Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2011) as the “best event across the world”.

He described Iranian people as kind and friendly, adding that Iran is a safe place for foreign investors.

He said Seoul is considered as one of Iran’s trade partners, stating that Sang Pipe Supply is highly active in terms of exporting pipe to the Islamic Republic.

Sang also voiced his company’s willingness to foster bilateral cooperation with the Iranian side.

The 16th Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition is currently underway in Tehran with participation of 1,550 domestic and foreign companies from 40 world countries.

The number of foreign companies taking part in the exhibition shows a 35 percent growth as compared to the last year event.

The exhibit opened in Tehran on April 15 and will continue until April 19.
