Sit-in in front of US Embassy in Malaysia condemning US threats to Syria

Kuala Lumpur – Several non-governmental organizations organized a sit-in in front of the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday in rejection of the US threats against Syria.
Malaysian BERNAMA Agency said that the participants carried placards rejecting and denouncing the US threats and delivered a protest note to the representative of the US Embassy in Malaysia.
Ibrahim Ali, Head of Perkasa rights group and representative of the protestors, called upon the Malaysian Foreign Minister Hanifa Aman to summon the US ambassador and present to him the Malaysian government and people’s stance in rejection of the plan to launch an aggression on Syria.
Ibrahim stressed that Perkasa strongly condemns the US intentions to launch a military act against Syria as this would lead to huge losses in lives, including children, in addition to the huge material damage.
