The Palestine News Network reported that six military vehicles raided the village and as they reached the center of town, dozens of Palestinians who had been gathering in the area confronted the soldiers. Palestinians threw stones at the soldiers and Israeli forces responded by shooting their guns and firing sound bombs.
The confrontation lasted for almost an hour. No injuries or arrests were reported.
This follows arrests the previous day of two Palestinians by the Slaughterer Israeli military in the village of Kufur Ra’i, south of Jenin.
There Israeli soldiers raided the village at dawn, ransacked several homes and arrested Muneb al-Sheikh Ibrahim, 32 and Munjed al-Sheikh Ibrahim, 38.
Israeli troops then erected a flying checkpoint at the main entrance to Jenin impeding Palestinian freedom of movement.
