Hamas Condemns israel’s ‘Systematic’ Targeting of Gaza Dialysis Center in Broader Health Sector Assault
The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has denounced the destruction of a dialysis center in northern Gaza, labeling it as part of Israel’s continued actions against the Palestinian population and a targeted attack on Gaza's already fragile healthcare system.

On Monday, Hamas condemned the actions of what it called the “fascist occupation army” following the destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza. The group characterized the incident as Israel’s latest act in a series of systematic attacks aimed at dismantling Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure.
The statement accused the occupying forces of persistently targeting various facets of life in Gaza, including healthcare facilities, as part of an alleged genocidal campaign that has persisted for over 19 months.
Muneer al-Boursh, the Director General of Gaza’s Health Ministry, announced on Sunday that the Israeli military had entirely destroyed the Noura al-Kaabi dialysis center.
The healthcare facility has continued to deliver essential care to over 160 patients suffering from kidney failure, despite facing critical shortages of fuel and medical supplies.
The center, affiliated with the Indonesian hospital, had recently undergone renovations and was reopened only weeks prior following an earlier Israeli offensive.
Hamas has reported a severe humanitarian crisis attributed to Israeli actions, leaving tens of thousands of patients, including women, children, and the elderly, without access to medical treatment or specialized centers for chronic and critical conditions such as kidney failure and cancer.
The statement highlighted that the brutal acts against innocent civilians in Gaza are perpetrated under the political and military backing of the US administration, accompanied by a disturbing international silence and complicity.
The Hamas Movement is urging the international community, including the United Nations and specifically the Security Council, to uphold humanitarian values and international law. The group is calling for decisive measures to be taken to stop the ongoing violence in Gaza and to ensure that those responsible for war crimes are held accountable for their actions.
On October 7, 2023, Israel commenced a significant military operation in Gaza following an offensive by the Hamas movement. The action by Hamas was in response to heightened measures by the Israeli administration against Palestinians.
To date, Israeli forces have reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 54,000 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and have injured more than 124,000 individuals within the blockaded region.
