Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei lashed out at the western countries, specially the US, for creating problems for the regional countries, and called on Muslim nations to prevent any foreign intervention in their internal affairs.
“The people in those (Muslim) countries should decide about their own destiny and prevent any foreign intervention,” Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing a group of foreign diplomatic corps in Tehran on Friday.

The Supreme Leader pointed to the divine assistance to the Muslim nations, and said, “Reliance on blessings of the Almighty God helps the officials carry out difficult tasks.”

Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that the western countries, the US in particular, are to blame for the chaotic situation of the Muslim countries in West Asia and Northern Africa.

Iran has on numerous occasions asked for a withdrawal of foreign forces from the region, describing it as the only way to restore peace and tranquility in this part of the world.
