Supreme Leader: I support any move useful in national interest
Making his remarks in a meeting with government cabinet members, the Board of Directors of the parliament, the judiciary senior officials and some other institutions higher officials, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei offered his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the government for advancing the set objectives in the resistance economy area, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei appraised the governmental measures in perusing resistance economy related aims literally important and efficient.
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei placed accentuation on the prime importance of action in the resistance economy stressing the forwarded programs should be in a way that at the end of the year the possibility of offering tangible and exact report would be existed.
To this end, Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei demanded parliament members to provide the way and team up with the government.
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei underscored that he was aware and cognizant of the limitations of resources or setbacks in the way of accomplishing the set objectives, adding, “Frugality, gaps and shortages in other sectors would be compensated”.
Supreme Leader underscored that he would back and support any action useful and necessary in the national interest or solving people’s setbacks.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei described the US as a symbol of dishonesty and peskiness, saying: “We cannot trust the Americans, and besides the Americans, some other Western governments are the same. Therefore we have to rely on our own capabilities and the American official’ positions and performance endorse such a view.”
The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei noted that Almighty God will assist the Iranian nation if it embraces sincerity in its actions.
“In the course of personal and social life, there are always ups and downs and hardship and ease, but the important thing is that under all these circumstances, the main course and orientation must not be forgotten,” said Supreme Leader.
The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei also said Iranian officials have always been united despite their differences of views.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has always enjoyed the privilege of national unity, but alongside this national unity there must be unity and empathy between officials and such unity is in no contrast with differences of attitudes and views,” said Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Supreme Leader called on Iranian officials, of whatever attitude or view, to move in line with the objectives set by the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei also said “empathy and rapport and unity” between officials will prepare the ground for the realization of the Economy of Resistance, noting: “Without cooperation among officials, affairs will not go ahead.”
