Supreme Leader of the Islamic Ummah participates in the inaugural session of the Fatemieh mourning observance

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, participated in the initial night of the commemorative ceremony honoring Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA) on Monday.

Ayatollah Khamenei commemorated the Fatemiyeh mourning period and the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra at Imam Khomeini’s Husseiniyeh, an event attended by numerous officials and hundreds of citizens from diverse backgrounds.

Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), the sole offspring of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his wife Khadijah, holds a revered position in Islamic tradition. She was the spouse of Imam Ali (AS) and the mother of Imam Hassan and Imam Hossein (AS). Renowned for her devotion and unwavering support, she remains an esteemed figure among Muslims, admired for her deep bond with her father and her steadfast support during his challenges. Her nurturing and supportive role extended to her husband and children, further cementing her legacy of compassion and dedication.

Fatemeh holds a pivotal role within the Islamic faith and is revered as a significant figure and exemplary model for Muslim women across the globe.
