Supreme Leader’s Aide Sees Iran as Resistance Model for World Nations

Senior Military Aide to The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi underlined Iran’s important and influential role in the region and the world, and said the world nations now see Iran as the role model of resistance against the arrogant powers.

“The Islamic Iran is now the role model of resistance for the world’s freedom-seeking movements and a role model for nations resisting against bullying and arrogant powers,” Rahim Safavi said on Saturday.

Early in February 2012, The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei categorically denied Iran’s interference in Bahrain, but meantime stressed Iran’s direct involvement in the Palestinian and Lebanese confrontation against Israel, including the Lebanese Summer 2006 33-day resistance against the Zionist regime.

“Wherever Iran interferes, it announces it in a very straightforward manner. For instance, we interfered in confrontations against Israel, which resulted in the (Lebanese) victory in the 33-day war and (Palestinians’ victory in) the 22-day (Gaza) war,” The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei said, addressing millions of Friday Prayers worshippers on Tehran University Campus at the time.

“In future too, we will support and help everyone who opposes the Zionist regime,” the Supreme Leader underscored.

“The Zionist regime is a real cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut, God Willing,” The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei underscored.
