Report: Yemeni Forces Win Back Strategic Mountain in Ta’iz

The Yemeni forces took control of Jbal Jubah (Jubah Mountain) from the Saudi forces in al-Mesrakh region of Ta’iz province, killing tens of Saudi-led aggressors, the Arabic-language al-Masira news channel reported.

The army and popular forces of Yemen also attacked al-Mesrakh district of the Ta’iz province today. A large number of Saudi forces were killed or captured during the Yemeni raid.

Earlier today, the Yemeni army and popular forces killed several other Saudi-hired Blackwater militias in an attack on a military base in Ta’iz province.

A sum of 4 Blackwater mercenaries, including two British, an American and a South African paramilitary troops, were killed in an attack on their military base in Zobab region in Ta’iz province, the Arabic-language media outlets reported.

“The Yemeni attack killed former British navy commander George William Castle, former British special forces officer Mark Judd Hart, American national Eshaq Bikark and South African national Alfred Banoushka,” the Arabic-language Al-Masira news channel quoted an unnamed military source as saying on Wednesday.

The town of Zobab is located 40 kilometers to the North of Bab al-Mandeb and is of strategic importance.

Also today, the Yemeni army and popular forces targeted a strategic military base in Saudi Arabia’s Asir province with another Qaher-I ballistic missile on Wednesday.

The missile precisely hit its target in Al-Faisal military base in Khamis Mushait region of Asir province today.

Qaher-I is an updated version of a Russian-made surface-to-surface missile.

The ballistic missiles that have recently come into service in Yemen’s army have claimed a heavy toll from the Saudi side of the war. Only in the last one week, around 550 Saudi-led troops have been killed by these ballistic missiles.
