The Syrian army continued its advances in many areas of Aleppo in the Northern parts of the country and seized back control over several strategic regions.
The army units regained full control over Al-Hosseynia, En Al-Jarn and Al-Vaviya towns in Aleppo countryside on Monday.

Tens of militants were killed and dozens more injured in heavy clashes with the army.

Meantime, heavy clashes are underway between the Syrian army and the Al-Nusra Takfiri terrorist group in the surrounding areas in Northern Aleppo.

On Sunday, the Syrian troops staged a series of successful operations in Hanano, al-Mlah, Handarat, Bashekwa, al-Sukari, al-Ramouseh, al Amriye, Sheikh Saeed and Hayyan areas in the countryside of Aleppo, and killed large numbers of the militants.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
